Reducing Employee Stress in the Workplace
Employee Stress is an Epidemic
Workplace employee stress in the U.S. is at an all time high. It’s not only impacting the health and welfare of employees but its hitting employers’ bottom line. With increased medical and abstenteeism costs, decreased productivity, and high turn-over employers need to act. Core causes of stress can vary greatly across individuals. The most common stressors come from work overload, people issues, balancing work/ life balance and job insecurity.
These look all too familiar regardless of the industry. Costs are cut and employers demand higher output with less resources. Stress increases for employees and they work longer hours. Do more with less is a mantra I lived with for many years.

Throughout this interactive session, Greta arms attendees with the basics and hidden power of mindfulness and stress reduction. She’ll guide attendees through over 25 easy and fast techniques that are especially effective in the workplace.
Then the magic happens. Taking what they’ve just learned attendees create a personalized plan to manage their own stress and find peace in every day.
Workshop for Leaders
Managers are an important part of reducing stress for their team. They not only support their teams stress reduction plans but also role model the behaviors for them.
This workshop takes leaders through a similar process so they too can build a personalized stress reduction plan. Then we go a step further. Leaders learn multiple new ways to engage their teams to reduce stress and increase creativity, revive a dying meeting, build relationships with team members, tips for starting difficult conversations… just to name a few.
Without this component, employees have been left not knowing whether their manager is committed to stress reduction or whether the whole thing is just lip service. Leaders will leave this powerful session with new tools that will add to their own leadership competencies.
What is Employee Stress Telling You?
Certainly helping employees manage stress at the individual level is important and can provide many benefits. These workshops are a great start. But don’t stop there. Without the support of management through actions aimed at the real stressors, the impact is diminished.
