The best session I attended during our Staff Development Day was How to Create a Personalized Stress Reduction Plan with Greta Kjos. I walked away with valuable applications and ideas that I could use immediately.
Greta Kjos was an excellent speaker. She engaged the entire audience and most importantly, I left her workshop with an action plan.
This session flew by because the content was applicable and provided resources for my well-being. Self-care and resiliency are now on top of my daily priorities!
I attended a workshop for supervisors on creating a personalized stress reduction plan in the workplace. This workshop was amazing. Greta was engaging and inspiring and walked participants through a number of steps that resulted in each one of us creating an individualized plan for reducing job-related stress. Even the few who initially seemed skeptical ended up agreeing that this was a very worthwhile workshop for employees at all levels.
To put it simply, my soul was drained. I thought the retreat would be some nice quiet me time. But it turned out to be so much more. I left truly knowing what I needed to do to get back to myself. Greta showed me how to look inside myself to see what I needed to do. I am truly grateful.
Greta provided exactly what I needed to help me re-discover my values, innate gifts and life’s purpose. Her wisdom and intuition helped lift the veil of confusion and uncertainty, and left me with a renewed focus and drive to move forward on creating the career of my dreams; a “job” that will enable me to live my soul’s purpose and share my talents with others. Greta showed me how to remember and embrace the human “being” part of me, and lessen the value I placed on “doing”. Greta’s patience and gentle guidance enabled me to see answers that were already there, waiting patiently for me to (re)discover them.
I attended Greta’s workshop for human resources professionals on mental health in the workplace. The workshop provided concrete tools for understanding behaviors that are typical for individuals with mental health challenges and tools for interacting with employees who are dysregulating in the workplace. I have already used the powerful tool of validation and saw firsthand what a difference it made when working with an employee experiencing a mental health challenge.
When I came to Greta for coaching, I was stuck in my business plan. I had lost sight of my original vision and couldn’t see the next step. After my first session with Greta everything changed. She helped me to explore and identify where my passion for my work was still alive in me. With humor and compassion, she masterfully exposed and challenged the mental framework I had created that kept me thinking and acting small. By the end of my session I was not only excited about my work again, I actually believed in the value of what I have to offer. This is an incredibly powerful shift! Coaching with Greta has reawakened my purpose—I feel energized, inspired, and motivated to take action.
Greta was hired to conduct an employee engagement study for our organization. Her work was comprehensive, detailed and confidential. She provided critical analysis and insight, helping staff and leaders understand strengths and challenges and provided clear recommendations for moving forward. Her work was invaluable in laying the groundwork for building a culture of trust and increasing engagement.
